    • 09/25/2021
    • 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
    • Island Water Sports, 1985 NE 2nd St, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441

Enjoy connecting with colleagues while enjoying beautiful Deerfield Beach!

Stand up paddle boarding, or SUP, is a traditional Hawaiian sport that promotes balance and core strength. Stand Up Paddleboards are versatile and can be used on calm waters or when there are waves to catch; perfect for surfing or cruising the open ocean, waterways, Intracoastal, and mangroves. Whether you want to get a great workout, paddle the flat water, or try catching waves, we can get you moving on a stand up paddle board.

First you start off on the land with your instructor explaining the basics, including ocean safety, paddling and getting up on your board. Once the instructor feels confident with your abilities you'll hit the water and start paddling! (Please be prepared to carry your board about 2 blocks from the location of the store to the sand.)

Whether you’ve been paddleboarding for a little or a long time, spending a session with your friends, family, or co-workers in the water can be a lot of fun.

    Cost: $25 per person

FREE for anyone who just wants to bring their own paddleboard and hang out. Any who attends this way cannot be part of the lesson but can engage with members during open paddle. You can meet up with the group at 9:15AM at the North Side of the Deerfield Beach Pier.
