With the 2021 – 2022 term year, the Board of Directors has voted to make some changes to enhance the success of our membership and organization.
First and foremost, we have decided to return to in-person events – yay! – though we will be keeping a watchful eye on current trends. At these in-person events, we will be asking all attendees to follow CDC guidelines based on their vaccination status. At this time, this means that we will be requiring all attendees to wear masks at indoor events. Additionally, in order to supplement these events for those who cannot attend in person, we will continue to offer virtual engagement options at a reduced cost when possible.
As anyone who buys groceries, orders food to be delivered or goes to restaurants can tell you, we are seeing increased food and beverage costs across the board. Consequently, our monthly luncheons will now cost $50 for members and $60 for non-members. For those who may wonder why we simply do not find a new, lower-cost option, know that we shopped several local venues, none of which gave us as fair a price for the quality of food we get at Morton’s. For a limited time only, however, we will be offering members the option to prepay for all seven (7) luncheons at a reduced rate of $45/lunch, or $315. You will see this option (for members only) on the event registration page.
For those of you that have already renewed, thank you so much for returning this year!
