Below is the list of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit holidays for the calendar year 2017:

 Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday  Monday, January 16, 2017
 Good Friday  Friday, April 14, 2017
 Memorial Day  Monday, May 29, 2017
 *Floating Holiday  Monday, July 3, 2017
 Independence Day  Tuesday, July 4, 2017
 Labor Day   Monday, September 4, 2017
 Rosh Hashanah  Thursday, September 21, 2017
 Veteran's Day (observed)  Friday, November 10, 2017
 Thanksgiving Day  Thursday, November 23, 2017
 Friday after Thanksgiving  Friday, November 24, 2017
 Christmas Day  Monday, December 25, 2017




*One holiday is available at the discretion of the Chief Judge in accordance with SCS Personnel Regulation 4.07(2).


Chief Judge Colbath has designated Monday, July 3, 2017 as a discretionary holiday for all employees of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit.


Monday, February 20, 2017, Monday, October 9, 2017 and Tuesday, December 26, 2017 are not court holidays. However, all are County holidays and County buildings will be closed. Court hearings cannot be scheduled on those days.


Monday, February 20, 2017 (President's Day), will be a regular work day for all 15th Judicial Circuit employees.


Monday, October 9, 2017, the Court will hold an in-service training for all 15th Judicial Circuit employees.


Tuesday, December 26, 2017 (day after Christmas) will be a regular work day for all 15th Judicial Circuit employees.


PLEASE NOTE: January 1, 2018 falls on a Monday and will be the first holiday for 2018. This corresponds with the County holiday.
